Trimester 3 (T3) is our ‘Summer 'Term' which, from 2013, will stretch from the end of June to the beginning of September. This period is busy for postgraduate students and short courses, but we want to consider how best to develop a wide programme of activity which fits who we are as an organisation and where we want to go in future.

The ideas and input of our staff and students is a crucial part of this process. To help, please spend a few minutes completing the online survey:

A new tool - embed.ly - has been added to Mahara to make inserting video and other content from sites such as YouTube and Vimeo much easier. See this video on the Using Mahara page for step by step instructions.

Software to convert text to audio mp3 is installed on all student machines in the IT suite and library as part of the MyStudy Toolbar, and can also be installed for staff on request. A high quality voice - Stuart - is also installed on the computers, and is available for staff from the IT Helpdesk (Mac and PC version). This replaces the 'Heather' voice that was used last year.
